Gill is a Conveyancing Legal Assistant in the Residential Property Department assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing process and all types of residential property matters.

Key Skills

  • Providing quotations and taking initial instructions from clients
  • Drafting contracts, transfer deeds and other legal documents
  • Updating clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and any other third parties involved
  • Obtaining Land Registry documents
  • Replying to buyer’s solicitors’ enquiries
  • Requesting property searches
  • Preparing contract reports
  • Exchanging contracts and dealing with post exchange work
  • Setting up files for completion and preparing financial statements
  • Preparation and payment of stamp duty forms and submission to HMRC
  • Making applications to the Land Registry and dealing with any requisitions

Experience

Gill has worked at Hughes Paddison for a number of years and has 28 years of experience in conveyancing.  Gill prides herself in being organised, efficient and approachable, assisting with all aspects of the conveyancing process.

Outside of work

In her spare time Gill enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
