As a firm we pride ourselves on providing a modern working environment for all our staff. We operate fully integrated technology including an Office Management System. We aim to treat all our staff in an informal but fair way and have been rewarded with their loyalty, many of our staff having gone through their training with us and stayed on when qualified.

COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR AND

GENERAL LITIGATION SOLICITOR (2 posts)

We have a strong reputation for quality legal work, and are looking for candidates with around 5 years experience and ideally some client following.  Our commerical property solicitor will be experienced in all aspects of commercial work and should be able to offer some general corporate experience, while our general litigation solicitor will have a solid background in personal injury, commercial and general civil litigation.

Solicitor

Although we currently have no other vacancies for qualified staff, we are always ready to consider applicants who have relevant skills to offer. We invite approaches from solicitors with a proven expertise and personal following who wish to join a progressive firm with which to develop their career.

Trainee Solicitors

In 2005 the firm embarked on a programme of offering two training contracts per year to run from the following March.  The first two trainees have successfully completed their Training Contracts and have both following qualification accepted full time positions with the firm.  We will advertise and consider applications from prospective trainees for March 2010 over the summer of 2008 with a deadline for applications by late October to shortlist and then interview in early 2009.  We are looking for candidates who expect to have passed their LPCs to be available to start Training Contracts in March 2010.

Secretarial
We are always keen to hear from experienced legal secretaries and support staff for full-time permanent positions and also freelance temporary work. We are looking for people with good inter-personal skills, the ability to be a team player, fast accurate typing and knowledge of Word and Excel.
